The curved face ensures forward roll on contact so there is pretty much no chance of side spin. Again, you have to be moderately accurate but most players will find this putter to be accurate and smooth. It would be an asset to mid and low handicappers.

This is one of the heaviest putters on our list and while our higher handicap testers got good use form it, our lower handicap testers were able to sink incredible putts with it. The milled face is thin and consistent throughout so forgiveness is surprisingly high in a putter of this caliber.

The weight will take some getting used to but once you do, you will be able to sink putts from 50+ feet out. It holds it’s line very well and imparts very stable roll tendencies. This putter has a tacky, yet firm feel due in part to the Winn mid-sized grip and the heavy head.

The Boccieri Golf Heavy Weight Series L3-H Heavy Putter also sports a heel-mounted double bend shaft. This is a really great putter for single-digit handicap players.

• It can be hard to find
• May be too heavy for some
