Lucas Glover: Early Life And Parents

In early November, 1979 Lucas Hedley lover was born in Greenville, South Carolina to father and mother, Ron Musselman and Hershey Hendley.

Unfortunately, when Lucas was just a young body his parents split and his father was forbidden to see him until the age of 18 – where from there onwards, Glover was able to make his own decisions.

His mother, Hershey remarried to a man named Jim Glover who Lucas now sees as his true father and whom he has taken his last name from.  When Lucas was just a teen, he was quite the sportsman.

He was known as the three-time all American and won the South Carolina State High School Championship.

Glover went to wade Hampton High School and followed his tertiary education at Clemson University. Here he continued his pursuits as a golfer and became the first-team all-American in 2000/2001.

Unfortunately, Lucas has not had the best history with his marriages as has his biological parents. Over his lifetime, he has had two marriages.

His first marriage was to wife, Jennifer Smith and second to current wife, Krista Glover. The couple currently have two children together and are still married.

Glover went professional in 2001 and has his big break in 2003 on the Nationwide Tour that he participated in. At which he then won at the Gala River Classic at Wild Horse Pass Resort. It was on this tour he finished 17^th on the money list, winning $193,989.

He continued to make big moves through the golfing scene, earning over $2,000,000 in 2006. In 2009 he won the US Open at the Bethpage Black Course in Long Island. At that moment, he was considered the underdog of the sportsman, sharing ground with Phil Mickelson and Ricky Barnes.

Later in 2009, Glover won the PGA Grand Slam of Golf in Bermuda which bumped him up to no. 18 on the world ranking. He won his third PGA tournament in 2011. Unfortunately, in 2012 Glover got injured and took time off and resurfaced in 2015.

Since then he has not held any major titles but that is not to say he hasn’t been successful. In 2016 he finished 8^th at the Wells Fargo Championship and earned over $1 million over the PGA tour season.

He did however make a comeback in 2021, where he won the John Deere Classic. Prior to this he had not had a PGA tour win for 10 years.
