On February, 15th 1984 Kevin James Kisner was born to his parents, Steve and Christy Kisner. He is said to be the youngest son to three children, an elder sister named Stephanie and an older brother, Kris Kisner.

The Kisner family grew up in Aiken, South Carolina in the United States and he currently still resides in his family town. Continuing the legacy for his own children it seems!

Steve and Christy Kisner were said got be high school sweet hearts, were inseparable from the moment they laid eyes on each other at Harding High School in Charlotte, North Carolina.

There is no moment where Kisner will not admit that he didn’t have success from early. He went from playing in the mini tours for only a short period to bigger classics and tournaments.

Three years after he turned professional, he began to struggle in the game – thinking about whether it was time to give up or carry on. Finding difficult to retain his PGA Tour card. But, luckily with some persuasion from his supportive family, he was able to get his card in 2014.

Prior to retaining his card, he won the Mylan Classic in 2010 and stood 11th on the money list in 2011. In 2013, he won the Web.com tour.

Kisner is an honest man. He struggled with accuracy for quite some time so took to John Tillery for some help, which slowly led up to further successes later on in life. In early 2015, he lost the RBC Heritage and Greenbrier Classic.

Later that year, he had his first PGA win at the WGC-HSBC Championships event I Shanghai and won the RSM Classic making him number 20 in the world ranking. In 2016, that is where he started really making a name for himself.

He then starred at the Dean & DeLuca Invitational which followed a PGA Tour title with only a one-stroke victory. In 2018, he tied for second and won the WGC-Dell Technologies Match Play.

To date, Kisner has had 9 professional wins. He’s won PGA three times along with the Web.com twice and the European Tour once and the Presidents Cup in 2017.
