On the 5^th of October 1963, Laura Jane Davies was born to Dave and Rita Davies, her father and mother. She was born in a small town in Coventry, Warickshire.

Not much is known about Davies’ personal life, her father was an engineer at Lockeed Aircraft Corporation. Unfortunately her mother died in 2019 from a perforated bowel. In an interview with Golfweek, Davies mentioned that she keeps photo frames of her mother around the house. We can only imagine she misses her mother dearly!
