Unfortunately that sponsorship money dried up quite quickly which meant that she had to work odd jobs to pay tournament entry fees. Pressure played a huge part in Meyers success, she was constantly worrying about whether she will have enough funds to pay for the next tournament fees that it often threw her off her game.
Over the last couple of years, Meyer would focus on the game recreationally rather than professionally. Majority of the time it was at Champions Gate in Orlando but often showed faced in the long-drive scene because of her husband, who works with Tim Burke.
It was because of this opportunity, she decided to try out the game of Long-Drive and see if she could make something out of it and well, she did! She is a really good ball-striker and is working on improving her speed and power to match the club speed of her competitors.
