2022 sees the upgrade of a trusted old name in the Callway stable and that is the Callaway Rogue ST Max irons, that promise to do just about everything for your game, as with most new irons nowadays, but the ST’s promise ball speed and distance above all.

They do this due to thicker soles, higher strength 450 steel face with A.I optimized face in each club and the chunkier thicker heads with more tungsten that send the ball into orbit off the large sweet spot.

With plenty of the same features we are used to from Callaway, these are similar to the Apex DCB’s but more affordable and without the immaculate forged feel.

While the clubs are incredibly similar in terms of performance, this review aims to help you ensure that you get the optimal value for your money, which is going to be the Mavrks.

If you haven’t upgraded in a few years however, the Rogue ST’s are an excellent bet, due to the increased distance, feel and are better for seniors with the new Lite version as well.

The Callaway Rogue ST Irons are fresh on the market and offering the greatest distance of any Callaway iron due to incremental improvements.

Despite being new, the Rogue name has a proven record over the years from previous iterations.

Callaway Mavrik Irons Review

The Mavriks have a lot of the same traits as the Rogue St’s with the A.I placed tungsten weighting, fast face, urethane and the large chunky heads with large sweet spots.

Crafted with the help of artificial intelligence, the accuracy of these clubs is near perfect.

The Mavriks are very close in performance to the Rogue ST’s and if you have the Mavriks there isn’t any need to upgrade. Also if you are looking for better value, the mavriks are a great bet, coming in a variety of flavours to suit all levels.
