It has a wide brim that goes all around so your face and neck will be protected in the sun and the rain.
There are a couple of brass seam vents that allow your head to breath but the seams have been taped so the hat is still fully waterproof. There is an elastic chin strap so it won’t fly off in the wind.

#9 – MOUNTFOOTPRINT Wide Brim Waterproof Bucket Hat
Quick Facts:
- Taped seams
- 100% nylon design
- Mesh inner liner
Our first impression of this hat was that it lets your head breathe very well. It has a mesh inner liner that allows for good airflow without letting in any water.
It is made of 100% nylon so it’s pretty unique in terms of design. However, it can still be folded down so you can easily carry it in your golf bag.
There is a chin strap that you can use in windy conditions as well. The nylon design makes it virtually impervious to water while the tape seams ensure that no water seeps in through the stitching.
There’s also a sweat belt inside the brim to keep your sweat out of your eyes.
Overall this is a great hat for both rainy and sunny conditions. It’s not too expensive and has unisex styling so it’s a good fit for both men and women. The brim is 3.5 inches long and goes all the way around the hat so you get good protection.
The only minor complaint we had is that it only comes in three colors and one of them is an unflattering orange/black color scheme that makes it look like part of a Halloween costume.
Pros And Cons

- Great for rain and sun exposure
- Fully foldable
- Adjustable chin strap
Cons
- Limited color options
Rating: 94/100

- 100% polyester design
When we first tried the Nike Golf Dri-Fit Swoosh Front Cap, we were taken aback at how breathable it was.
For a baseball cap, the Nike Golf Dri-Fit Swoosh Front Cap sure does allow for good airflow.
That’s partly because of the 100% polyester design but the material is also perforated and double-layered.
It has the Nike “Swoosh”logo in the bill and in the back just above the adjustable hook and loop strap.
This is a 6 panel hat so it is very reminiscent of old time baseball caps. Somehow, it has vintage and modern styling. But overall this is a good-looking cap that protects against the rain very well.
Just keep in mind that there is no brim or bill in the back so the back of your neck will be exposed.
