Allow us to present the Callaway Apex Pro 21 and the Titleist T100 iron sets. Both of these sets have player’s features that not only make them look amazing; but play amazing as well.

We will tell you what these features are and which one is the best in today’s comparison review.

Overview Of Both Iron Sets

The Titleist T100 irons hit the shelves back in August of 2019 and instantly became a hit.

With an emphasis on smooth turf interaction and superior feel, they became a favorite among tour pros and still hold up against newer Titleist iron models.

The Callaway Apex Pro 21’s came out, you guessed it, in 2021.

They are how Callaway responded to the success of the 2019 models. The 2021 version of the Apex Pro’s improve the range of the older model with a deep cavity back.

Callaway Apex Pro 21 Key Features

The Callaway Apex Pro 21 irons feature a fully forged body with minimal offset and a narrow sole.

The head sports a clean, compact player’s look and a hollow design.

This allows for a Tungsten weight and a layer of urethane microspheres to be placed I n the head.

Titleist T100 Key Features

The Titleist T100 have a single-piece forged design which, helps improve consistency.

The mid and long irons also feature tungsten weighting in the heel and toe to increase MOI.

The sole features a pre-worn design to help it glide through turf more smoothly.

The Apex Family

The Apex family was launched with the Pro, Standard and DCB models.

The Pro’s have the narrowest sole and the smallest head, making them more true player’s irons.

The DCB’s are certainly the most forgiving of the bunch while the Apex Standard irons offer more in terms of distance.

The Titleist Family

Titleist has also released the T200 and T300 irons.

The T200 offer the most distance and a more suited for people looking for distance irons.

The T300 offer more forgiving features like a pronounced offset but both the T200 and T300 feature progressive sole thickness and blade lengths.

Who is Each Set for?

The Callaway Apex Pro 21 irons are definitely more for players who like a softer feel – especially from the longer irons.

They are made from carbon steel and have the urethane microsphere layer to improve feel.

The Titleist T100’s are better for players needing a bit more in terms of scoring ability.

Composition Comparison

The Titleist T100 irons sport a thinner face with a single-piece forged design.

The Callaway Apex Pro 21 irons feature a semi-hollow head and is forged from 1025 carbon steel.

The Apex Pro’s feature tungsten weighting in the heel and toe while the T100’s have a Tungsten energy core in the head.

Performance Comparison

With the Titleist T100’s you get slightly higher launch angles and a decent amount of forgiveness for such compact irons.

This is thanks in part to the dual density tungsten weighting which increases MOI.  The Apex Pro’s provided the better feel though, with their A.I. tuned Flash Face cup design.

In terms of distance and forgiveness, it was pretty much a wash between these two iron sets.

We were getting distance readings that were no different than a couple yards both ways.

However, the T100’s were more consistent with apex height, distance and spin control.

Price Comparison

You can expect to pay around $1,300 for the Callaway Apex Pro 21 irons and just slightly less for the Titleist T100 irons.

The T100’s usually retail for around $1,230.

However, we liked the consistent control and scoring ability that came with the Titleist T100 irons.
