Brooke Mackenzie Henderson was born on September 10, 1997, in Smith Falls, Ontario. Southwest of the Canadian capital, Ottawa.
She is the youngest child of Dave and Darlene Henderson and the younger sister of Brittany.

Henderson started swinging a golf club at the age of 3 because she wanted to play with her dad and sister.
