Next up is one of the best bargains for a high-quality waterproof golf bag. This Titleist bag weighs only 3.8 pounds! It’s feather light and made of all weatherproof material.

We really liked the sleek look of this bag at first but were more impressed with the high quality design including seam sealed pockets for added protection against the elements and the generous foam padding that makes this bag exceptionally comfortable.

You get 4 oversized holes for your clubs up top (multiple clubs fit into a single hole) and 6 large storage pockets.

Callaway makes some premium golf equipment but we tip our collective hat to them for this one. This incredibly light, incredibly durable waterproof bag is the best choice when you want premium quality.

The Callaway Hyper Dry bag weighs only 3.6 pounds on its own but still comes with ample storage for all your clothes and accessories. It also features a couple of sturdy stand legs which hold it at a convenient angle to reach all of your stuff.

Like the last entry on our list, there are 4 large divider holes up top to fit your clubs into. And Callaway’s X-Act Fit Strap system makes this bag a perfect fit for any push cart.

4. Cobra Golf 2019 Ultradry Stand Bag

Our first impression of this bag was that it had one of the thoughtful features that the last Callaway bag had: the bottom base is angled so that when the legs are engaged and the bag is tilted, the bag lies flush on the ground.

But the Cobra Ultradry bag continued to impress. It has “X” style carrying straps which make it very easy on the body and weighs 4.5 pounds. It also features a 14-way top divider for you clubs and 5 seam sealed pockets including an oversized apparel pocket.

We really liked the overall design of this bag. It looks good, features the stylized Cobra logo on the side and there is even a fleece-lined pocket to store your delicate valuables like your phone and watch.

We were expecting a lot from this TaylorMade bag and we are pleased to report that we were not disappointed (if we were, it wouldn’t have even made the list).

First of all, this is a light bag; weighing in at just a hair over 5 pounds. Secondly, the 15-way top divider has an extra deep well for your longer clubs and is reinforced with a sturdy material that we can only assume is some sort of woven nylon.

There are a total of 7 storage pockets on this TaylorMade bag including a towel ring and a few conveniently placed handles. This bag will fit easily in your motorized cart or your push cart.

The second Cobra entry on our list made a good first impression on us because of its attractive design. This bag manages to maintain a clean look even though there are a whopping 13 storage pockets draped all over it.

This Cobra bag weighs a little over 5 pounds but has storage for everything you need including an oversized insulated cooler pouch. There are a couple of fleece-lined valuables pockets and a 14-way top club divider.

This is a great choice for when you also want to have the most stylish bag on the course. It comes in a variety of colors but we chose the black/grey variety and were not disappointed in terms of looks.

To be quite honest, we weren’t expecting much from this Forgan product at first but it made its way onto our list because of some of the advanced features that are packed into this waterproof bag.

First of all you get an oversized 14-way divider that easily fits all your essential clubs. You get a total of 2 umbrella holders conveniently placed so they don’t obstruct pocket access. There is also a cooler pouch and seam sealed 100% waterproof pockets.

The cart weighs 5 pounds and you can select from a variety of colors. Plus, when you have this bag strapped to your cart, all of the pockets are still readily accessible. The Velcro glove pad, towel ring, rain hood and oversize apparel pocket top off this very thoughtfully designed bag.

Our first impression of this bag was that it seemed to be very well balanced. Even though there are no leg stands, the placement of the pockets and straps made it at least look like it would be easy to transport and stand up.

We weren’t wrong. The reinforced base and the strategic placement and sizing of the pouches on this RAM Golf bag make this a dream to get from your trunk to your cart and back again. As the name suggests, there are 14 slots for your clubs.

This includes an oversized external slot so your butter head doesn’t bash into your other club heads. You get a total of 9 pockets in this bag including an insulated beverage pouch and a valuables pouch lined with soft material (faux velour?).

There are also a few nifty little features that were tacked onto this bag that still manages to be very well balanced overall. For instance, it has an umbrella holder, a Velcro pad for your gloves and you can attach an included rain hood onto it.

Pros:

• Very affordable bag for the quality
• Made of 100% waterproof material
• The weight is very well balanced (the whole bag weights just 5 pounds)

• Doesn’t seem very long-lasting

This bag has pretty much everything you need to play a full round of golf on a rainy day. Of course, it is made of waterproof material and the pockets are seam sealed so your gear and your valuables won’t get wet.

There is also an umbrella sleeve and a snap on rain hood when the weather goes south. But aside from all the weatherproofing features, this 5 pound bag is also very convenient. Take for instance the foam padding on the side of this bag that cushions the weight of the bag against your hip when you have to carry it. The 4-point shoulder straps also feature high-density foam for comfortable carrying.

And as far as storage goes you get a 14-way club divider top and a total of 6 storage pouches including a large apparel pocket, a velour-lined valuables pocket and an insulated pocket for keeping drinks cool.

We end our list with a bag that at first, thought would be more of a distraction than an asset on the course in inclement weather. We say that because the only color available at the time of testing was black and orange.

And if you have read a few of our reviews already, you know we are a boring bunch that typically opts for plain, flat colors like black and grey. But we were impressed with this bag overall. Mainly because of its durable design that really holds up well in the rain.

The OUUL Aqua Cart bag was designed for the motorized or push cart. All of its 7 pockets have been thoughtfully arranged so that they are accessible when strapped to the cart. This bag sports a 14-way club divider top that spans 10 inches – a good size for security and storage.

The whole thing weighs a little less than 5 pounds when empty and comes with the obligatory (albeit essential) weatherproof features like an umbrella slot and a rain hood.

Pros:

• The umbrella slot is actually spring loaded for secure placement
• The material wicks water off the surface of the bag very well
• Holds your clubs securely in place

If money is no object for you then we would suggest picking up the Callaway Hyper Dry golf bag. It is a durable bag and it was one of the most convenient and comfortable bags to carry manually. Plus, it is sure to last a long time which means a lot to us.

But if you want the best bargain we would recommend the Forgan bag on our list or the Titleist StaDry bag. Both of these bags are very affordably priced and provide everything you need to enjoy the game even when Mother Nature is trying to rain on your parade.
