COBRA AEROJET OVERVIEW
The AeroJet driver series is Cobra’s new baby in 2023, featuring three new drivers that cater to golfers with different skill levels.
Cobra is a golfing giant, sponsoring many quality PGA Tour, European, and LPGA Tour professionals.
Their golden gem is with Kyle Berkshire, the number one long drive champion, which shows the reputation they have to uphold when it comes to distance.
Aerodynamics is the key to their success, and this range has been refined to improve clubhead speed and overall distance.
This golf driver is a low spin driver for players with swing speeds ranging from 90 to 110 MPH seeking an accuracy and distance combination.
Overview Conclusion
The AeroJet from Cobra and the TSR2 from Titleist are impressive golf drivers that produce low spin, a neutral ball flight, enhanced ball speed, and maximum distance.
Clearly, Cobras AeroJet driver is all about distance. Although I appreciate its sleek design, I prefer the Titleist TSR2 profile.
I suggest you test out both drivers to understand and analyze what suits you better and what feels more comfortable in your hands.
The TSR2 has a phenomenal all-around performance in the distance, accuracy, ball speed, and forgiveness categories. Its attractive design has developed from the previous range, with a sleek profile and compact look at address.
The CG is positioned low and forward to lower the MOI, significantly enhancing ball speed. After testing, I noticed its forgiveness is similar to the TSi range, with comparable numbers popping up for both series. On the other hand, the ball speed improvement is excellent. Due to the multi-plateau clubface, I noticed the overall balance has improved.
TITLEIST TSR2 FIRST IMPRESSIONS

Multi-Plateau VFT Clubface: The TSR2 driver clubface features a multi-plateau variable face design thickness.
The clubface is designed inwards layer-by-layer to boost energy transfer across most surface parts to enhance forgiveness and overall balance.
Surefit Adjustability: The Surefit adjustability lets players and club fitters adjust and tweak the loft degree and lie angle to personalize the driver to the golfer with 16 distinct selections.
Forward and Low CG: The Center of gravity is a crucial factor in a golf driver’s performance. Titleist has moved the CG lower and forward to improve ball speed and enhance the launch and spin.
Enhanced Aerodynamics: Titleist improved the aerodynamics of TSR2 from previous editions.
This helped me accelerate the clubhead speed on the downswing to transfer maximum power to the golf ball at contact. through the air and improve the clubhead speed.
Lofts: Titleist engineers crafted the TSR2 series in 4 different loft options. The lowest loft is the 8-degree, followed by 9 and 10-degree.
Finally, the highest loft is less than the standard driver lofts, coming in at 11 Degrees for a higher launch.
COBRA AEROJET DRIVER FIRST IMPRESSIONS
At first glance, I found the Cobra AeroJet lowered spin, boosted ball speed and launched the ball high and long.
Cobra focused on aerodynamic shaping changes with this big stick to improve clubhead speed and length without sacrificing forgiveness and accuracy.
In addition, it carries an attractive black and blue finish, which adds an element of style to the big stick.
COBRA AEROJET DRIVER KEY TECHNOLOGY
Advanced Aerodynamic Shaping: According to Cobra, this feature is the driving force behind their new driver series, and I concur.
The incredible aerodynamics helped me generate superb velocity on the downswing to increase energy transfer.
The design was inspired by the aerodynamics of a plane’s wings, prompting Cobra to lift the rear skirt and improve the curvature of the club’s crown, which decreases drag for faster clubhead speed.
PWR-Bridge Weighting: All three of Cobra’s new drivers utilize an advanced PWR-bridge weight concept.
It enhances the sole and clubface flexibility and moves the CG forward and low for rapid ball speeds.
Carbon Crown And Sole: A lighter and more durable chassis is created by the Carbon Fiber Crown and sole, which aims to position more weight lower in the clubhead for extra stability and balance.
PWRSHELL With H.O.T. Face: A Forged PWRSHELL clubface insert enhances the clubhead’s flexibility for a boosted launch and maximum ball speeds.

WHO SHOULD BUY THE TITLEIST TSR2 DRIVER?
After our tests, it became evident that the Titleist TSR2 driver suits mid-to-high handicap golfers seeking a higher launch profile and unrivaled forgiveness.
It can fit lower handicaps depending on their swing characteristics. However, some of our lower handicap volunteers were put off by its high trajectory and launch.
Finally, this driver range is expensive and unviable for many average golfers.
On the other hand, if you have the budget, you will not be disappointed by this big stick and its technology-packed features.

Long-drive players know where to go first when selecting their longest-hitting golf driver.
The AeroJet driver suits golfers with mid-to-high swing speeds that desire an excellent distance-to-accuracy combination.
Although it seems like it’s designed for a better or a professional player, the low spin and fast clubhead create a high launch and solid rate of forgiveness.
