These are cavity back irons with large footprints. The undercut is nice and hefty too so launch is really good. In fact, even as the entire set launches high the irons stand out. Forgiveness towards the heel isn’t too good but most new players miss towards the toe anyway.

Wedges

While we would have liked to see a sand wedge included in this set, at least the pitching wedge is effective for chip shots and bump and runs. The pitching wedge also has a cavity back head and a graphite shaft.

Harsh vibration is effectively dampened; but this wedge doesn’t spin very much. Fast greens were a problem for most of our testers.

Putter

The face insert imparts a soft feel to putts long and short. The ball starts its forward roll very quickly and the putter face gives good feedback. To be honest, we were really surprised at how well this putter performed. Usually with sets in this price range, the manufacturers skimp on putter quality.
