First Impressions
We were very impressed with the new Golfbuddy Aim V10. It arrives in a handy box with the unit front and center and it includes a very handy Usb charging cable which is easy to use. The presentation was professional and of a high standard and we were looking forward to try it.
Key Features
This is simple and straight forward device that is extremely lightweight and compact but gets the job done to the highest standards.
Screen Size
They upgraded the screen size to 1.2 inches on the Aim V10 which is very handy for reading the distances if you wear glasses like myself.
Courses Available
The V10 comes with 40,000 courses in 170 different countries and you can easily add new courses via Bluetooth for free although I have never seen a course that wasn’t listed.
The course loads automatically as you arrive and one powered on at the first tee box we were good to go.
The GPS device will read aloud the distances to the front/middle and back of the green as well the distances to any hazards which is new feature for golf buddy.
Bluetooth
You can also pair this device via Bluetooth to the Golfbuddy Smart App which will give a ton of information useful for shaving shots off your round right to your smart phone.
Battery Life
The battery life is very good with the V10, I’ve got finished with 2 rounds so far and I am pretty sure I can squeeze in 1 more before I have to charge again. Charging is simple and fast via the USB cable provided.
Audio Options
The Audio is available with a male or female voice and it speaks 8 different languages which is definitely more than I can.

Who Is The Aim V10 GPS Device For?
The Aim V10 is perfect for anyone who wants to get into GPS tracking for under $100. If you want an uncomplicated device that gives you the info you need in an easy manner, this is for you.
This is also perfect for senior golfers and anyone that doesn’t want overly complicated features. If you have bad eyesight for example a simple button press will read out the distances for you.

While these devices are similar, the Aim V2 offers a larger screen, better battery life (External Batteries) and it has fixed a lot of the bugs of the Voice 2.

This is a perfect entry level device from a trusted brand that we have tested to be durable and accurate when compared to the TecTecTec VPro 500 Rangefinder.
If you are looking for something simple and effective there is no reason not to go with the V10. The audio capabilities and the Bluetooth are very handy. It loads the course automatically and now you also have Bluetooth functionality which can connect to the App on your smartphone for bigger display.
