Rick Shiels is one of the most famous people in the golf industry, he started with his YouTube channel, and it wasn’t too long after that he started a podcast. His co host is Guy Charnock, they form a great partnership that makes their podcast very easy to listen to.

The episodes can last anywhere from 40 minutes to 2 hours. Their topics are the latest news from around the golfing world, product reviews, and some swing tips here and there. They also answer questions listeners submit, which is quite nice to hear.

Every tuesday there is a new episode, they are pretty good with sticking to this, which is nice to look forward to each week.

We really enjoy this podcast, Rick and Guy say it how it is and never beat around the bush, they are very informative when it comes to equipment and the latest news, and have great topics throughout their show.

#2 – Me And My Golf

Andy and Piers have become a household name in the golfing world, they have an unbelievable following on YouTube, and a massive data base on their website. They are well known for their online lessons and tips. They keep it very simple and easy to follow, which is why they have such a big following. They are also partnered with TaylorMade giving them access to interview the best players in the world.

Their podcast is great too, they talk a little bit about current affairs, but their main focus is on doing interviews with well known people in the industry and talk about their experiences too. They give great mental and practice advice in their episodes.

Their about pages reads ‘Me And My Golf is the largest golf YouTube channel in the world. PGA Coaches Piers Ward and Andy Proudman have dedicated their lives to helping golfers get better and as European Tour coaches, they know what it takes to become a world class golfer. This podcast is going to help you get up to speed with the latest trends in golf coaching, news, mindset and overall performance as they discuss and interview some of the world leaders in golf. Giving you simple tips and tools to help you take charge of your game.’

Episodes generally range between 30 minutes and 1 hour 30 minutes. We really enjoy this channel, they provide great information regarding the game, and how you can improve your golf.

The Golf Podcast By Golficity is hosted by Frank and Mike, they are just your everyday golfer talking about your latest news, golf instruction, golf tips, equipment and product reviews.

They both have easy to listen to voices and have an easy following conversation.

The episodes last between 30 minutes and 1 hour 30 minutes. Frank and Mike bring out a new episode each Tuesday, which gives you something to look forward to each week.

Their about page says ‘The Golf Podcast by Golficity. Discussing golf instruction, golf tips, golf equipment and product reviews, interviews with top golf professionals, and much more.’

I wouldn’t say we listen to all their episodes but we do enjoy listening to these guys. Great chat and great banter.

#4 – The First Cut Golf

The First Cut Golf podcast is presented by CBS Sports, this podcast brings you the latest news in and around the PGA Tour. They have some incredible hosts by the names of Rick Gehman, Mark Immelman, Kyle Porter and Greg DuCharme. All four guys are big names when it comes to presenting on the PGA Tour.

Very easy to listen to, and talk about very interesting topics. They also cover current tournaments and affairs from around the golfing world. They have a great segment where they discuss the best picks for your fantasy or drafts leagues.

Their page reads ‘The First Cut takes you inside the ropes of the golf world, on the PGA Tour and beyond. Tournament previews and picks, deep dives into the players and storylines that matter in the sport of golf. Rick Gehman and Greg DuCharme join us every week for PGA Tour DFS, betting picks and information you need to know to win your ‘One and Done’ pools. It’s a great podcast with awesome hosts, and their topics and general conversation is very informative.

As you would guess, a podcast hosted by Sky Sports is going to be good, it is hosted by Josh Antmann. Their about page says ‘We’ll keep you up to date with all the latest golf news, reviews of the week’s tournaments and a look ahead to forthcoming events.’

They generally discuss the latest news and tournaments coming up, they don’t do swing tips or product reviews. Most episodes are between 40 minutes and 1 hour 30 minutes.

Really nice podcast, easy to listen to and follow. They have some interesting insights into the upcoming events.

#6 – The Filthy Lipout

This podcast is all about general golf conversation. The hosts John E. Morgan and Kit Alexander interview a number of different people within the golf world. They talk about golf instruction, tips and general chat.

Their episodes are around 1 hour long. They are very informative and easy to listen to. The Filthy Lipout podcast comes out once a week.

They do get players on the channel like the names of Dean Burmester, Sam Horsfield and Garrick Higgo, which is always nice to get some inside thoughts and stories from the players.

#7 – Fore Play by Barstool Sports

This is a great podcast, it is hosted by Trent, Riggs, Frankie and Lurch, they cover all the latest gossip on tour, and just have general chat about golf. They are 4 very average golfers so it is easy to relate to what they are talking about.

They also have two very famous instagram and YouTube channels, where they showcase funny golf videos and on course vlogs, sometimes doing awesome episodes with the likes of Dustin Johnson, Rory McIlroy and Tommy Fleetwood to name a few.

There are weekly episodes ranging from 1 hour 40 minutes to just over 2 hours, they are perfect for your daily commute to and from work.

Their about page reads ‘”Fore Play” is a weekly podcast by common golfers, for common golfers. Trent, Riggs, Frankie, Lurch, and their wide variety of guests talk about everything golf like normal folks sitting at a bar watching coverage, venting about the game’s difficulties, and weighing in on pro gossip. #8 – Golf Science Lab

The Golf Science Lab podcast is for the full on golf nerd. The host’s name is Cordie Walker. Cordie loves to dive deep into the technical aspect of the game. He has interviewed some of the best coaches in the world, and loves to pick their brains regarding techniques and practices to improve your game.

Often I have found myself downloading one of the Golf Science Labs podcasts after a bad round, to try and give me some motivation and inspiration to play better the next time I go out.

Their about page is spot on ‘We help golfers understand what it ACTUALLY takes to get better at golf and perform your best. Ignore the BS and cut to the truth as we talk with leaders in the industry, from professional golfers, coaches, instructors, biomechanists, researchers and more. Host, Cordie Walker is on a mission to figure out how to improve the way we learn and get better at golf.’

The episodes range from just under 30 minutes to 1 hour, perfect for a quick listen. They cut to the point and get their message across very easily.

NBC is the main broadcaster for Golf in the US, so as you would expect their golf podcast Golf Central is top class. The hosts are two professional golfers called Will Lowery and Doug Smith, they talk about the latest news surrounding the tours and interesting topics from the world of golf, they also interview celebrities, athletes, and golf influencers, which is interesting to listen to.

The episodes range from 40 minutes to 1 hour, and they come out with weekly.

Their about page reads ‘GolfChannel.com writers discuss and debate the latest news from the PGA Tour, European Tour, LPGA, Web.com Tour, Champions Tour, College Golf, and the amateur game.’

This is awesome as you get to hear news and get insights into all the major tours around the world.

It is a little more formal than some of the other podcasts that we have listed, so we don’t listen to all of them, but no the less it is a great podcast to listen to.

This podcast is all about instruction. Fred Greene and Toni Manzoni are two guys that can talk about golf all day long. They discuss golf tips from well known books and have PGA teaching professionals on their show to discuss their techniques and mindsets.

The Bogey Boys Golf Podcast is hosted by Kevin and Mark who are great characters. They are crazy golf fanatics and love the game. They speak about the latest news in the golfing world, with episodes coming out on a weekly basis. They travel around a lot and cover loads of different topics.

They have had a few famous players on their podcast too from Charley Hull, Hudson Swafford and Chris Hanson. Their episodes are 1 hour to 1 hour 30 minutes.
