Arccos Caddie Smart Sensors Must Read Review
I purchased the Arccos Caddie Smart Sensors and have used them for around a month up to this point.
I decided to share this post to give my honest opinion on the product, giving you an indication of whether it’s worth buying or not.
As you read on you’ll learn significant details about the sensors to help you make an informed purchasing decision.
Upon unboxing the product the first thing I observed was how helpful and easily understood the instructions were. This made the set up very easy, which is exactly what you want from an item of this nature.
It was immediately apparent this was going to be one of the better golf products I’ve used in a while, and my initial evaluation turned out to be right.
The feature which helps you choose the right club is really useful, but that’s merely scratching the surface.
I wasn’t going to be easily pleased, especially after how impressed I was with the Arccos 360.
With high expectations for the new version I anticipated effective shot tracking from a device which attaches to your clubs and records memorable utilized to your advantage.
What’s handy about the Arccos Caddie Smart Sensors is it sends relevant data to an app on your phone for further analysis, enabling you to extract the information necessary to improve your game.
How Does The Product Work?
I found myself simply screwing the small sensors to the top of my golf clubs, quickly realizing they wouldn’t impede my swing in any way shape or form.
Once attached, upon swinging your clubs data is recorded accordingly and sent to the app on your phone. Once you’ve connected to the app you’re ready to go.
There are two different products on the market to choose from:
- Arccos Caddie Smart Sensors
- Arccos Caddie Smart Grips
Though the Smart Sensors simply screw onto your current grips, Smart Grips are designed to replace your existing ones entirely.
Both products work off the same principles. They track every single shot you take, measuring how far you’ve hit the ball alongside keeping track of how far you hit each club.
It will later tell you which club is recommended on a given shot based on how far from the hole you are. Pretty cool right? It’s like having your own personal caddy out there with you!
You’ll also determine how many fairways/greens you’ve hit in regulation, where your most common misses occur, your average drive length and how many putts it’s taken to complete each hole.
Arccos Caddie Smart Sensors act in a similar way as a GPS system does.
Are They Easy To Use?
They are very straightforward to use, in fact following installation there’s little else required.
Simply connect to the app and you’re good to go.
You’ll have to wait ten minutes for the sensors/grips to pair, so you might want to attempt this in advance. From here you should tell your app what clubs you have, before pointing each club towards your phone so it’s acknowledged.
Are The Sensors Accurate?
Though many similar devices have been somewhat gimmicky in yesteryear, Arccos has truly defined its industry.
The results are very accurate, which all things considered is highly impressive. You can even select a specific point on the hole in question and work out distance from there!
- Well built
- As accurate as other GPS devices
- Highlights areas of improvement
- Club recommendations
- Sensors add ¾ of an inch to your clubs
- You need your phone in your pocket at all times
- Sensors can fall out
- $99 annual fee
Do the grips come in different sizes?
It is a one-size-fits-all device. If you want bigger grips you can customize your own with the sensors.
Is it worth upgrading from the previous 360?
I did and I have no regrets. The app is a little better now and it’s more consistent accuracy wise.
How long do the sensors last?
They should last for 4-5 years.
So, Are They Worth It?
I’m a huge advocate of the product, as you can probably tell from this glowing reveal.
I will admit the product isn’t without flaws, but that doesn’t mean to say it won’t bring your game along leaps and bounds.
For a more enjoyable experience which sparks a level of professionalism like nothing else on the market.
You’ll definitely feel the part out there if you’re a regular golfer, but perhaps won’t get the most from the experience as an average weekender.
If you want to take your game to the next level this is definitely one of the best products on the market to help you do just that.
The grips are cheaper than the sensors, but the sensors will save you the hassle of completely replacing your grips.
Both are great options nonetheless.
